Computer-Aided Design Write For Us

Computer-Aided Design write for us – Computer-Aided Design digitally creates 2D drawings and 3D models of real-world products, even before they are manufactured. With 3D CAD, you can easily share, review, simulate and modify designs, opening the door to innovative and differentiated products that get to market quickly. In 1985, Dr. Samuel Geisberg created the Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) and defined a radically fresh approach to CAD software. This innovation produced the industry’s first parametric and feature-based solid modeling CAD software, now known as Creo, the industry standard for product planning and development software.

More than 30 years later, the creation development industry is beginning to embrace the next wave of technology-driven innovation, as many other industries have already done.

History of Computer-Aided Design

The origins of CAD go back to the early 1960s and Patrick Hanratty and Ivan Sutherland. While operational for General Electric, Hanratty developed a program called DAC, the first system to use interactive graphics and a numerically controlled programming system.

Two years later, in 1963, Ivan Sutherland designed a system that “broke new ground in 3D computer modeling and chart imitation, which is the foundation of CAD.” Sutherland called his program Sketchpad, explaining that it “allows designers to use a light pen to create technical drawings directly on a CRT.”

In 1971, Hanratty developed a plan called ADAM. It has been described as the “first commercially available integrated and interactive graphics design, drafting, and manufacturing system.” About nine out of 10 CAD programs originate from ADAM.

Hanratty updated ADAM, allowing it to run on 16-bit and later 32-bit computers. The plan became a success with a name change to AD-2000 and more machining and surfacing capabilities.
